I’m Denisse

For years, I thought of myself as just “the marketing one”. Turns out, I’m a lot of things, and none of them fit neatly into one label.

I’m a multi-passionate Latina who loves many things with equal intensity, and I’ve finally embraced the brilliant chaos of me.

Where it all started

My story begins in Barranquilla, in the north of Colombia (yes, home of Shakira, Shakira… no need to remind me 😄). That’s where I picked up my spicy accent, my love of music and dance, my habit of seeing the bright side of everything and my…grit.

From Colombia, to Turkey, to London

After finishing my degree in Industrial Engineering, I packed my bags for Turkey. Eleven months in, while working in logistics and collecting memories (and a few lifelong friends), I realised something: I was bored. I missed the buzz of creativity, the human side of business, the thrill of ideas. So I did what I always do… I followed my gut. I came to London, studied business, pursued an MBA, and discovered my true calling in marketing. London didn’t just shape my career and open professional doors for me; it became the love story I never expected.

For a while, my career became my entire identity. Titles, promotions, performance reviews… all good things, but also a neat little box. And now, as I’ve grown older (and hopefully wiser), I’ve kicked the box over.

I’m a natural leader who makes room for softness.
I’m a high-achiever who doesn’t settle. Not at work, not in life, not even in healing.

I’ve lived through things that could’ve broken me, but instead they made me more intentional, more empathetic, and, I hope, more powerful.
I’m not just Denisse, the marketing director.
I’m Denisse, the storyteller, the builder, the brave one.
